Art for skateboard decks

I want to get my art on skateboards but I don't know how need help.

Research and find the names of companies that manufacture skateboards - contact them and see how to become a designer in their company...Good luck !!

try stencilling with spray paints
I use to do that

I've dont it before, it great!
if you dont allready have a deck start with a cheap one
the ones from the globe world cup are good to start with
get a bunch of accrilic pain colours and some different sized brushes
first paint the base coat (over the whole deck, unless you want it the way it is)
and then work on your design
you can put anything on there...something youve seen from a magazine, logoes, your own designs, band names, ect
if your having troube first draw the design on the seck with a greylead pencil
that should make it easier
you dont need much...
a deck
paint
paint brushes, and a container of water to wash them
pencil and eraser (if you want to draw the design first)
and some newspaper underneath so you dont get paint on the carpet/tiles/ect

Sorry I ment I want to get my art on decks that companies will pay me for like a job as a sk8 artist and have other sk8ers sk8 on them.
