they are black, there feet are black, the white is just for camaflouge. they are black with white stripes
and yes there skin is black BUT polar bear skin is black but you dont call them black do you? and you judge horses and dogs etc via there primary hair colour AND some zebras are born with genetic variations that make them all black with white stripes, or mostly dark with the striped pattern only on part of their coats but the majority are white ^_^

Are zebras black with white stripes, or the other way around? I've often wondered. Ever since I saw the movie "madagascar" with my kids, I've been confused. Any ideas?
