Are you against meeting online and dating or not?

Are you against people meeting online and dating or are you against not? And why?

I like to say Im NOT against people dating someone from online. I mean, yeah you have to watch out for older guys and people like that, but what if they werfrom a school...

or a safe website? What if they are in your school and you met them online? It is okay then?

I dated a couple of guys that I met online. But, I thought that I had learned everything about them by talking to them all the time online. Then when I met them things eventually turned sour. I started learning things about them that I wish I would have known before. People can easily tell you anything you want to hear when you talk to them online. They can make themselves seem like your soulmate. However, you never know until you try. That's just what happened in my experience. Just be safe with whatever you do. Meet in a public place with your friends there.

WELL ITS ALL UP TO YOU. I CANT TELL YOU IF THATS OKAY. I MEAN ITS OKAY IF THE GUY IS REALLY WHO HE ACTS LIKE HE IS ONLINE. BUT JUST BE SAFE, AND SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY FIND THEIR SOUL MATES ONLINE AND SOME PEOPLE FIND THE LAST PERSON THEY WANT TO BE THEIR SOUL MATE, IT ALL DEPENDS!

I'm totally for meeting people online - as long as its done responsibly (meeting where there are other people around at ALL times), I actually highly recommend it. I've met some awesome people online, I didn't end up dating them but tons of great friends. I think this is something that should be done by adults only though, people are starting this way too young and that's how bad things happen.

I met my boyfriend online. It was one of the best experiences and I wouldn't change it for anything. We dated for over a year and broke up but now are back together. When I met him though I had a friend with me and he had a friend with him and we met in the middle of a mall so there were always people around us so it wasn't just us. I think that's how it should be not all people online are who they say they are or what they say they are so you should always be safe. There are weird people out there but there are also amazing people that you can meet online and be great friends.

I know 3 couples who met on line and are married now.
of course you have to be careful, as you would any where else.

I think dating online is weird most of it turns out just breaking up after a while BUT HEY IM JUST A 13 YEAR OLD NONE CARES ABOUT MY OPION!
