Shania Twain did an album that was two discs - one in pop, and one in country, same songs, just done differently. I've enjoyed a few songs of hers that were the "pop" kind, but I'm not a fan of country.
The lyrics on several, I'm sure I'd enjoy more if they just remixed the song...however, I don't know enough about music to know how I'd start to track such a thing down.

There is a song by Big and Rich called Loud and Lil Jon was featured in it and he added a hip hop beat in the background and rapped a part. And there's also every song by Cowboy Troy. So the answer is yes!

Are there such songs as country remixes?
Cause when I went to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant last night I heard a song done with a little bit of trance sounding music in the background but the main focus was country. Can someone take a wild guess? This is the very first time I have heard a...
country song done this way. It is my favorite of all-time!! Someone that is real famous probably sings it but I dont know who. And what other recent songs have you ever at this restaurant? They play excellent country music, I must say!! =)
