Are there public observatories to look at the stars?

SPAM Asked by ilovespam about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

I have an itch to go star gazing. Are there public observatories to look at the stars? I want to go somewhere to look at the stars and I wanted to find one open to the public. My roommate is footing the bill so anywhere in the US is okay.
