Does a positive pregnancy result show up after 5 days?

Hi we have done pregnancy test which was negative (we had sex 5 days back). Are there still chances for her to be pregnant? Shall we go to clinic / wait till her period time?

A missed period is usually always the first sign of pregnancy. Sperm can live inside a girls body for a couple of days before she can even become pregnant. Just wait to see if she misses her period or not.

Yes, there still is a chance. Continue to take the over the counter pregnancy test until she sees a doctor. The sooner you see a doctor the quicker you'll get your answers.

5 days post sex the test would not be positive, and neither would a doctor's office test. Read the directions on the package to find out when to take the test.
