Are the rumors about sorority hazings true?

I've hurd a lot of things about sororities, is the hazing really as bad as it seems?

(Even though they have rules/laws agains it..it exists I am sure)

its only bad for the idiots that dont realize what is happening. everyone has a choice, you can either do the things they ask or not. If the sacrifice outweighs the goal then it is not worth it. the people that get killed through hazing are the ones that want to fit in so bad that they will do literally anything. If you have a little self respect you dont need to fit in.

I think there really true.because I have lots of people in my family that have pledged to be in sororities and phatornaties.It's just all a big secret.and honestly you'll never know how bad it is to you join.like aka's(alpha kappa alpha's)I've'e heard that they make out with the same sex to actually have the title as a aka. soo well I think you have the point.
