Are hair extensions any good?

Ok so I live in the uk and there are these hair extensions available in a store online that are £30 for a full head set. Would these be any good? My hair is really thick so I don't want to thicken it, just lenghthen!
Any advice appreciated!

It really depends on your hair type. Many people that I know and have seen on the television actually ruined their hair by putting on hair extensions. If you were to do this I would advise going to a professional to put them on so nothing bad happens to your hair. There are people though that are out there and their hair was fine years after having extensions put on. Hope this helps.

I had glue in ones dont getme wrong I loved them but they are hardwork I had a party a while bk and I got chloranated water in them worst mistake ever I woke up and my hair was a complete knot I had to cut cut them out clip ins are gd I started on them untill I decided to blow £300 on bloody glue in ones that took 5 hours so I really suggest using clips ins they are better for your hair they dont ruin it and dont cost the earth either gd luck!!!
