sorry, this is kinda a random question but there used to be this ad on NZ tv with this old American guy who says he has never seen the sea. Living in NZ, the idea is quite unfathomable. So, out of curiosity, how many people reading this have never seen...

the sea? No part of New Zealand is more than 128km from the sea.

I'm right with ya--I grew up on the Eastern Coast of Florida, US. 10 minutes away from the beach by car.

I can't imagine never seeing it...

I'm 100% sure a bunch of the members from the middle of the US haven't...that might explain why "middle America" is so odd
