I remember the transition being similar to the transfer from elementary to middle school. You will be the shortest and youngest group at the school again, and you will have to relearn where all the bathrooms and the cafeteria. Once you learn the new combination to your locker, you will be just fine.
hola! been there and done that. everyhigh school is differetn but the big changes from my middle school to my highschool were:
bigger school
new school
scarier people (you got all the seniors who look like adults)
less homework
more projects
different people in your classes from differetn grades
sometimes wont be in any classes with your friends,
bigger lunch scene
mixed lunch (sophmores and juniors and seniors and frreshman all in one lunch)
smaller lockers
lockers actually have locks
as for advice:
keep close with friends, most people will change throu h.s but as long as you keep some really good solid friends your ok,
try and meet new people
dont slack off actually do your school work.
study hard
enjoy it
dont worry bout it at all
make plans to meet your friends if you are in the same lunch. I.e me and my friend new we were going to be in the same lunch so we decided to meet up in a bathroom so we cud walk in to lunch together and sit at the same table
dont try and act like your amazing beacuse your finally in h.s most kids will take your proud attitude as being cocky
try new thoings like differetn clubs or sports, its better to start freshman year
have fun funmail me with any other questions k?
oh and never pretend to be someone you arnt, just be and love yourself

Im going into it next year and want to know if there's anything hard or new about it?
