Oh jeeperz don't. I made that mistake and it ended up sideways even though I swear I put it in straight. It sat on a slant and looked stupid, I really don't suggest it. Save up and go to a professional, its worth it. There are definitely veins, its disgusting. I remember seeing all them stand out while I was piercing it, sickening.
I wouldnt suggest trying that
your not a profesional, the only "expirence" you have is putting a hole in your skin
but peirsing is myuch more than that
they dont cost much ok, just save up a bit and get them dpone profesionally
and your friends dont really know what there doing either,
anyone can put a hole in there skin
I would say the safest one (If there ever was) to peirce yourself is your ear
nothing else...but to answer your other questions...
1. safety pin =NOOO!!! no matter ghow "sterilized that things is its not a good idea
2. there are no surgical steel peircings that can fit through a hhole that a safety pin makes...you need something thats at least a little bit bigger than the actual peircing
3. yes there are, and some that can cause some seriouse damagde if you hit them
you have veins pretty much everywere
4.sea salt soak, 1 cup warm water with 1 teablespoon of sea salt, loak the peircing in it for about 15 mins a day, for a week or so. also dont constantly play with them ot turn them, let them heal themselves
5. for your own safety, im not going to tell you! so hopefully you wont do it
hopefuuly youll go to a profesional
just save up a bit and get it done safely
youll thank yourself if you do
otherwise youll risk getting it vrooked, peircing the wrong spot, hitting veins, higher chance of infection and so on

Any suggestions on self piercings?
I'm going to do a lip piercing myself...I've had a lot of friends do it so I kind of know how, but I'm not completely sure. What should I use? I've heard a safety pin but I don't know. How do you know if the size of the ring will fit the piercing? Is...
there any veins you could hit? What do you clean it with afterwards? Where should you pierce? I'm trying to get snake bites.
