Dear spinxey,
You must not stop counselling and you must find a place she can go that handles anorexia. This is not just a phase that will pass. Anorexia is a psychological disorder and needs to be treated as such. The food is secondary but the lack of food is what will eventually be her downfall. People with anorexia suffer from faulty thinking and need to get back on track...you can't do this yourself and it can't be done without help. I know it's frustrating but what you say and do will have little impact on her. These are cases for professionals.
Sue...good luck

Hey there.
Well keep her going to a counsellor. Maybe you should try get her to meet other girls that have been through anorexia and they could advise her what to do or tell her how they got through it. Make her aware that anorexia is life threatning and you'd probably be better off going to a doctor or a person a pychiatrist. You need to understand what the issues are that are causing her anorexia.
But yeah I'd reccommened you see a health or menatl health professional
