I'd call ballet studios in your area and get a consensus of opinion - they should know...I wish you the best !!

Well kids usually start ballet little younger but I won't say that you are old. As panni said, you are never too old to start anything new. If you want to be a proffessional ballet dancer you should practise very very hard.
Wish You Luck!

I took ballet classes when I was 22 years old. It's not too late to start for you.

I am a ballet teacher, first off your never to start dancing, it's just that when most dancers start when they are young it's a bit easier because this way we can form and deleop their bodies. But you can start at any age nothing is different except your body is used to certain movement, and to start dancing now will alter or expand the standard movement of your body.

A lot of studios have classes for beginner teens and adults. Actually I am taking Beginner teen level C. The only difference from that and kids ballet is that teen classes move at a slower pace.
