Am i overreacting?

Well my boyfriend I've been dating for 4 months is the most confusing person on earth. I dont want cling why but it seems like hes too, not caring if thats the word? I know he cares, hes helped me out a lot with trying g to get me healthy(quit smoking...

stop taking so many pills) and school(I dont go very much) an d I know he wants the best for me in that sense. It jus t seems like whenever were at school (17 years old btw) he is soo preoccupied. This is my first bolyfriend and the only other relationships I've ever seen are ones of my friends but there boyfriends are soo nice and seem like they love eachother so much, like hugging and him grabbing her for no reason, just becaus e kind of cuteness (mind you their boyfriends are unattractive and mine is really attractive can probably get whoever he wants) and im not sure if its a selfesteem issue with guys which is why my friends boyfriends are like that and mine isnt. Or ifi im overraceting and I have slef esteem problems. Like he doesnt always say bye at the end of the day, or during lunch hell be with one of h is friends and walk right by me. Not all the time but when he ignores me like that it hurts a lot... Idn if my expectations are too high... Like every time I walk passed hi m he has to say hi to me kinda thing and thats how a guy would see it. Or if its something you have to get too over a while into the relationship? Or if were at a party hell talk to me and stuff but it seems like he doesnt even care im there sometimes. Im kinda hoping im just crazy(as bad as it may sound) or if im just really sensitive and hes a normal typical guy. Should I comfront him about this stuff? Like when he doesnt say bye, or come talk to me between classes it hurts my feelings so much, sometimes I even go home crying. I dont want clingy, but he wont like just come up, and hug me randomly or anything sweet like that. How do girls get guys to be like that??? So I guess I kind of have 2 questions, am I overreacting. And any girls with this f*cking god blessed skill how do you do it? How do you make him jutst over the top crazy for you?

And I really dont want a be yourself answer, I already know that.(to b e honest im really really kind person so being myself comes across as needy) but what makes men go crazy in love over women

Ha.. good luck my boyfriend broke up with me cause I tried to change him into that "perfect guy" cause it hurt cause all my friends boyfriend's were like that.

doesn't sound like your overracting but I can tell you what your boyfriends problem is. Sounds to me like he might be a little shy. He probably doesn't know what you expect of him or even what to do. Why don't you give him hugs, show him what being in a relationship is about until he catches on

I don't think you're overreacting what so ever in my opinion.
I would've layed it out and been like you gotta start doing a few things or we won't work.
and some guys are just stupid and don't know how to treat a girl..
but do little things to him and see if he starts doing them to you too..
