You're not overreacting. If they're really your friends, they should A) want to hang out with you, and B) deffinatly shouldn't lie to you. If I were you, I would focus of finding new friends, or hanging out with other friends who maybe you aren't best friends with. That way you know you're not wasting your time hanging out with people who don't care about you as much as other people might.

In another Q, I mentioned how my two best friends leave me out a lot.
Well I asked one of them if they could go out last weekend and she was like yeah sure, what time?!
So we arranged it and all that. And then I came on MSN and she was lke 'sorry I cant...
go out anymore' and gave no reason
I just shrugged it off assuming that her mum had told her she couldn't or whatever.
But today I heard her and my other best friend talking about how they went out on saturday (the day we were meant to be going out, but she said she couldnt go)
I was really hurt that she told me she couldnt go out, then she goes and goes out with my other best friend instead. She didn't seem bothered either, she was talking to me today going 'When me and A (ill call her a, I don't want to mention names) went out on saturday, we saw this...' etc.
Am I over-reacting about this? Or am I right to feel hurt by it?
