Ok this is gunna be long so only read if you dont mind reading long stuff

I wash my hair every other day
Because it gets very greasy and I like for it to you know be clean and nice and stuff
Like seriously it gets so annoying because I would have...

washed it

Then like the next day it becomes greasy like I havent washed it for weeks
But I cant wash it every day because my hair is also quite thin and I dont want to lose any more hair than I already have
So I wash it every other day and I condition it like twice a week

But I dont know why my hair is so thin
Like I spent 2months in hospital
And was on medication and had loads of scans and stuff with very little radiation

That was around 6 months ago
And my hair is just getting thinner
Even tho im off medication and having no more scans

Im eating all the right foods
Having loads of protein
Omega 3
Plenty of water
All the stuff that should make my hair nice and healthy

Can anyone tell me if im doing anything wrong here?
And am I washing my hair often?
Is there a special kind of shampoo I could use?
Btw im using dove at the moment
I tried loreal elvive for greasy hair shampoo and it just took out more hair and it became even thinner

Help I just want nice hair!! =[

Actually, I would wash it more often. Wash it very gently every day, and condition it once a week, only on the ends. Do not put the conditioner on your scalp.

Also, try conditioning before you shampoo, so you know you're washing the conditioner out really well.

If your hair is falling out more than average and you don't know why, consult a doctor.

I know that I have to wash my hair every other day if I want to wear it down because it will also become greasy. But a lil cheat that I have learned is spraying it with hair spray. Just a little though! You don't want super tough hair but it just helps by not having to wash your hair every day/every other day. (I spray it after I have blow dried my hair & straightened it, then take a brush & brush the hair spray out so its not so stiff) Another thing... I live in South Florida so the wind is always blowing & I love to ride with my windows down... but its a big downfall b|c something about being outside all the time & walking having the wind blow through my hair makes it greasy way faster!! & if you run your fingers through your hair constantly that could also make your hair greasy. I have thick hair so I condition my hair everytime I get in the shower. Otherwise its all tangly. But I know if I put in too much conditioner or don't get it out all the way it will get greasy. Maybe try putting less conditioner.
About having thin hair... if you wear your ponytail to tight that makes it fall out & thin out. Try blow drying your hair upside down... that gives it a lot of volume. & poofyness kinda. I hope that these lil tips help!! Lemme know how it goes!

I wash my hair everyday because it get's really greasy.
your not doing anything wrong..
but to help with the greasyness.
I put listerine [green kind] on my scalp and conditioner on the bottom and let it set for about 15 minutes.
it reallly helps.
hope it works for you.
oh and this sounds crazyy.
but to help with the thickness.
use mane and tail shampoo [its actually horse shampoo] but really speeds up growth and helps with breakage!
good luck!
