What are the mormon beliefs regarding adultery?

My husband is commiting adultry with a woman that is married to a morman I dont believe he knows about it . How do you believe he will feel or act onces he finds out . She is also morman she truned into one in order to marry her husband and now she wants out . I assume to hook up with my husband . Can you please let me know the morman beliefs about adultry

24 Thou shalt not commit adultery; and he that committeth adultery, and repenteth not, shall be cast out.
25 But he that has committed adultery and repents with all his heart, and forsaketh it, and doeth it no more, thou shalt forgive;

These are words from the doctorine and covenants from the book of mormon. Adultery is a serious matter, but if you ask Hevenly Father for forgiveness, and mean it, because of Christ's Attonment, you will be forgiven.

If you commit adultery, and you marry the person, God will forgive you... I think...

I can tell you the mormon beliefs and adultery, it is absolutely and completely not acceptable!!! It is a sin and a very big deal. It is between the two people married wheather or not to stay together, but it is grounds for divorce. and divorce is NOT something taken lightly among the mormons it has to be approved before you can even go through with it, but adultery is one that they would approve divorce for. I'm sorry that happened to you by the way.

So sorry for you, for I've been there. It doesn't matter what religion, unfaithfulness is immoral. Forgiveness is always appropriate, even if he does not come back. If he does not come back, you are free and he will have to live with his stupid decision to wander.
Kids always feel they are to blame, but squelch that noise and assure them, if you have any, it is never their fault. Be the best ma you can be and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!
