Ideas for a song for my boyfriend and I

ok, so my boyfriend and I have known each other now for almost 8 years and we've been dating for about 6 months. well, we were talking tonite and realized that we dont have a song!! we found a few that we sorta like, but not enough to name 'our song,' so basically, I'm asking if anyone has any suggestions. we've thought about mary's song (taylor swift), hey there delilah (plain white t's), I'll be (edwin mccain), and a BUNCH of others. I just need some ideas...we've both liked each other FOREVER but cant remember any of the songs that we used to listen to before we started dating that reminded us of the other one.

nonono you can't just PICK a song...a 'song' in a relationship is something like...the first song you 2 dance togethor to...or somethign that means a lot to you 2...like for me, me and my girlfriend's song is just so you know- jesse mccartney because I sent it to her and we both listened to it a lot before we were dating...because the song was like the same situation we were in..she was dating this other guy but she liked me soo much...but yah a song is something that means a lot..not something you pick

lol, what darthornx said... it really has to mean something to you, it doesnt have to be a love song, just any song that has meaning to you...

this is all great advice and stuff but as far as the whole picking a song that means something to us isnt so easy...our first song that we danced to was 'I'll be' by edwin mccain. we both think that song is HORRIBLE and that its WAYY too popular. now, dont get me wrong, its an ok song, but it just brings back bad memories for us. we didnt have our first kiss to a song, and there wasnt some song that we both listened to a bunch before we started dating. so, in other words...I'm still stuck...
