I did the 6 meal/day thing for a while. It did seem to help keep your energy level up while dieting. If dieting makes you feel draggy and lethargic than going to 6 meals/day might help.. Most of the meals are more of the snack variety rather than big productions. Typical meals were a sandwich, some flavored rice cakes and fruit, a cup of miso soup, etc.

Well I know now that you are not too big on fruit, but grapefruits are the number one thing to eat while trying to loose weight. All of the acids in them breaks the food in your stomach up quicker which then makes in pass through faster meaning it's not going to stay in there as long as it typically would so your body doesn't take as much of the fat and what not, in the foods you've eaten that day. So I would probably eat it maybe a night or something. And with the whole six meal thing and you going to college just do the best you can with that. Since you're a vegetarian try sticking to the organic ones, there much easier for your system to break up, and they're about a thousand times better for you. So hope that could have been some kind of help to you!

Eat snacks 2 hours before large meals.
Try eating things like yogurt and oatmeal.
I'm sure your college has a cafeteria with some healthy snacks.
If not, get an insulated lunch box to keep your yogurt etc cool.

well, its hard to lose weight cause we are all tempted to eat unhealthy things so to eat only 6 small meals is a good thing so this way you can eat a lot but its still healthy, just make sure they ARE small. or else its only increasing your problem.
you can start out with eating a salad,or something from nutrisystem, or any type of healthy snack. from there on, do that scedual but make sure(like I said before) that the meals are SMALL!!!
