50th bday advice

Ok, so my Mom's 50th bday is coming up in march. I know there's still plenty of time, but my sister and I are trying to figure out something spectacular for her. She's been through so much. We want to really make this a memorable bdday. Problem is, we...

What we did is plan afamily holiday (including us) and hope for the best :P

I know you'll get lots of ideas but I'd like to suggest one. A membership in AARP. It's only 12.50 per year or 39.95 for 5 years. Besides getting the monthly magazine and the monthly bulletin, there are many benefits. The benefit I enjoy the most is the least auto insurance around. It cut my auto insurance by 75 percent.

I know it may sound like a stupid gift, but many times when someone turns 50 (the minimum age to join AARP) they don't think about joining AARP because they think it is for OLD people. It is for everyone 50+ and really does help people to enjoy a better life.

Also, give her some roses. She deserves them.
