where do you work that they didn't give it to you off ?

that's horrible. I have that day off and paid. every company should do the same.

retail...
but what pisses me off is that I asked for the day off, we're supposed to give one week notice and I gave more then that.

well how many people got it off ?

what I would do is go in and pretend to be hella sick.

or you could always call in super early and tell them you have a flat and if they can find someone to pick you up.

I doubt they will <3

or or or !!!

I sound like a seal. damn.

you can call in late as hell and tell them your alarm clock didn't go off and continue apologizing.. but only call like 1 hour before your shift is over.

and out of pure curiosity, what store ?
