Make them just as special. And make sure that you dont leave it to long between weddings becos then the specialty of it will die down. I have a cousin who is having a Greek ceremony and a Catholic ceremony next week but she is doing them both on the same day. Just keep up the good vibes and excitment.

Just remember that most of us only got one wedding, and when its all over you almost wish that you could have another wedding!
Just remind yourself that you are having the experiance of a life time and you get to have more than one!!! Embrace the friends and family that will be sharing in each event!
Good luck!

2 weddings - one more important than the other?
I am getting married to a Chilean in May. We are having 2 weddings, one in the States and one here in Chile where we live, plus our civil wedding here. We are getting married first here in Chile with his family and we will also have our civil wedding...
here first. The problem is that I feel jealous that both types of weddings (civil/religious) are happening here first. What can I do so that I feel that the ceremonies in the states are just as important as the ones here?
