What might happen in 2012 is a rollover of the Mayan calendar. The Mayan calendar measured various units of time, similar to ours measuring years, months, weeks, and days. The longest Mayan measurement, the Long Count, rolls over about every 5,125 years (so Earth has seen this rollover more than 800,000 times before). Anyway, we aren't even sure exactly where our calendar lines up with theirs, so it's very possible that the "End Of The Word" has already happened.

It won't be the end of the world. It won't even mess up anybodies appointment book: no one uses the Mayan calendar anymore.

No, no one can accurately predict the end. They could get lucky, I guess.

Scripture says that no one knows that day nor the hour and even Christ himself does not know until the Father reviels it to Him and that anyone who says that the day or hour is such and such will most likely be wrong. Also says that Christ will come back in the twinkling of an eye and those who belong to Him will meet Him in the sky. Our souls will be with Him. We just need to be prepared and ready at ANY givin moment. It could be tonight, an hour from now..tomorrow, a yr from now or 2012 or a thousand so years from now. Only He knows and what we are to focus on is living each moment as if it were to come NOW, To be ready for His return so we may have that salvation with HIM.
Salvation is a Free gift, given to ALL!! We just need to accept it. Scripture says that we dont have to worry when we are in him and belong to him, "that we MAY KNOW" that we have Salvation through Him. What a great a wonderful Father we have!!

I recently had to do some date rollover testing from dec. 2012 to jan 2013. It passed. Therefor, the world will not end in 2012.

I hope not because that is not far away.

With the way we are treating the earth I wouldn't doubt it ending,but not for a looong time. I do doubt that it will end in 2012.

All that is, is some guy making up some story and convincing a group of people its right. Its mostly christians who believe this, which is sad because according to the bible, no one will know the end, and anyone who claims they do, is basically talking from the devil, sounds extreme I know.
