Why would you breed her? Do you need the puppies? Do you have homes for all the puppies? 4 million dogs are killed in shelters every year because there aren't enough homes for all the damn dogs people are breeding. It's selfish. Don't contribute to the overpopulation, get her spayed. Getting her spayed also decreases her chances of uterine and vaginal cancer. And she will likely live longer.
You Should Probly Wait At Least Another Couple Years There Is No Harm If You DO a lot of People Breed There Dogs Young She Needs To Go Threw At Least Three Cycles Though. Now If Your Question Was About Size Him Being Smaller Then Her No Thats Not An Issue .You Will Take The Puppy From The Fourth littler Thats A Male Or Female To Breed With Mom Or Dad .NO IT IS NOT IN BREEDING.Your Keeping The Blood Line Strong. Now Since It Is A Toy Breed You Want To Always Rebreed The Smallest Of The Litter .I Hope This Helped And If You Have Anymore Questions FunMail ME
my friends dog had puppies at 8 months! So im sure you could with your yorkie, have puppies would also calm her down if she's hyper/energetic. plus the puppies would be so cute, and if it's pure yorkie pups, you could sell them for a pretty high price, somewhere around $500 each maybe. And it's nice if you help potty train them.
Wow you must be confused!! Do not breed her at 1 yr old, she is not ready to handle the physical and emotional strain that pregnancy puts on a dog. If you love your dog, do not breed her until she is at least 2 and has had an exam by the vet after you let him know you want to breed. There is so much you need to know before you even consider breeding. It is hard, expensive and can cause heartbreak. Losing puppies is common if you do not know what you are doing and losing the mama dog is a very REAL possibility. If you have questions, funmail me anytime!!

No one should ever fool around with "line breeding" unless they absolutely know what they are doing. You should never ever mate a son or daughter to its parent, you are asking for issues. In line breeding, it is something that has been done for years to perpetuate "champion" lineage and to breed out bad traits. Thsoe who still line breed today fall into 2 catergories, 1) poor breeders who have no idea what they are doing and cause harm to their dogs and breed. 2) very serious long time breeders who know their dogs geneology forwards and backwards and have years of breeding experience
Line breeding should never be even considered in this case.
