What's a good gift for a son turning 18?

Heve a son who's turning 18. Need good gift and/or activity ideas.

yes if you have the right income and he dosent already have one I recommend a laptop its the perfect gift not to mention he can do school work on it or a trip is always fun

Well I do agree that electronics is probably the direction to turn.
You could also give him gift cards to his favorite mall stores.

Yes, electronics would be nice, or if he has a car, you could get him something for his car. A laptop would work, or maybe a new cell phone if he needs a new one. (maybe one of the newer ones since they seem 'cooler') A trip would also be a good idea, and maybe he could bring like one or two of his best friends. I'm sure he would like that, but he should probably decide where he wants to go.

If hes going to be leaving home anytime soon something that might make him feel not so lonely is a puppy! Haha I know it sounds lame but he might just appreciate having the company later on. Or get him a laptop...

Since on the verge of my 18th birthday, I think that just money would definitely be a good gift because then you can do what ever you want with it. but I suppose that is a bit impersonal. but if you give him money then he can go to the strip club
