16th birthday party ideas

My younger girl cousin is having her 16th birthday coming up and she wants me to help plan it. What are some theme ideas that you think would be cool or you have tried? As many ideas and as in much detail as possible (I.e. food, decorations, location,...

activities, etc.) would be great.

you could find somethings on the show "My Super Sweet Sixteen" and go on MTV.com and look there. you could have themes like:

Carnival- food such as corndogs, popcorn, carmel apples, cotton candy, etc, decorations could be ballons, colorful streamers ex. red white blue pink green. the location could be a backyard a big lot and just put up a big red tent or in a hall and just decorate. you could hire ballon venders. clowns. gymnists. activities could be simple things ex. musical chairs pin the tail on the donkey or have things like water ballons or a 7minutes in heaven room. the attire could just be any clothes yu would wear to a carnival jeans and a teeshirt.

Pajama Party- food like any sleepover popcorn. mozzerella sticks. pizza. chicken fingers. wings. simple foods. attire could be pajamas.location could be the girls house or a hall. decorations have pillows everywhere. ballons streamers. pretty muh like any sleepover would be. even if there is boys yu could have activities like high heel race who can dress a baby doll the fastest.. its easy to handle things like that.
