How do i tell my mom i started my period?

I started my period yesterday and I don't know how to tell my mom. How do I?
HELP ME!

yeh just go up to her and tell her. you're growing up so it's expected to happen! i know u can be a bit shy..but i'm sure she'll be thrilled!!
i was shy myself..in fact, i didn't bring up the subject till the next day!! ..and luckily, she understood straight away..i was like 'mum, i need to tell you something..' and she was like 'u gor ur period!!' and i replied 'errr..yeeah' lool
anyhow, dnt worry..just go for it!

well i also have mine but just go to her and say mom uess wat i started my period and say it all excited and ur mom will probobly be surprised but not ma dbesides wat is the most that could happen right

Maybe you dont have to tell her... just let her find out (if you know what I mean). If she does your laundry it's pretty simple. : ) That's what I did.

this happend 2 me i was 10 n now im 17 i didnt want 2 tell my mum so i left it till the next day anyway i said 'we need 2 talk mum 'n she said straight away 'u have ur period' i was like yer how did u no n she said this happend with ur sister

every gurl goes threw it..if u dont wanna tell her face to face try writing her a note..
but she wont get angry..she went threw it too!!

i was so embarrassed. i didn't tell her for like a whole year. i just used toilet paper down there and at school it would sometimes fall down the leg of my pants and i would be bleeding everywhere. i accidentally left my bloody underwear in the bathroom sink at home once and she found them... thankfully. of course i'm older now and know i should have just told her the day i got it. i understand if you are hesitant to bring it up.
