look, you're on this site, so maybe a part of you still has a little hope that maybe life will get better? and it does, eventually, slowly... it sometimes seems like torture and a cruel joke, but it does get better... maybe you need to cling on to that... it will get better...

Why do you want to cut yourself. I have been severely depressed for 5 1/2 years and have thought about suicide constantly but why would you want to cut yourself? Doesn't that make your life even more miserable?
