I found someone asking about the answer to this riddle as a question the other day:
I turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champagne bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
There were so many posts that it was locked, so I didn't get my opinion, but there were only four suggested answers that I saw: time, salt, no and pressure. Well, make that five!
The answer has got to be the inevitable.
I turn polar bears white= It's inevitable that polar bears turn white, it's part of nature.
And I will make you cry= Everyone cries at some point in their life.
I make guys have to pee= Guys peeing is also part of nature.
And girls comb their hair= girls comb their hair A LOT.
I make celebrities look stupid= All celebrities have had or will have a dumb moment in their career.
And normal people look like celebrities= All people will have a shining moment in their life, when they feel like they are on top of the world.
I turn pancakes brown= If you are making pancakes, they'll all turn brown eventually.
And make your champagne bubble= If it doesn't bubble, it isn't real champagne.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop= You can put off the inevitable (squeeze it).
If I look at you, you'll pop= If the inevitable looked at you, it would probably mean some death-type situation, meaning you'd pop pretty soon.
That's my opinion ^_^.
