I agree with xlysx but to add with my own stuff if it helps I liked my sisters best friend for I think 3 years now but I took a chance and my sister didnt like it but her best friend did and now we have been dating for almost 7 months now.
Hey I went through something similar and it turned out my best friend liked me,but it might not be the case here but it could be she is really stressed and needs someone there for her cant think of much more to say hoped I helped.
